We laughed until we cried

In a few days from now our daughter will
be tossing her cap in the air. Our hearts will
soar as we honor her journey thus far, cheering
for her success as she finds her place in the world.

I'll return next week with tribute pieces to
Edward Gorey, Edgar Allan Poe and Lewis Carroll.
Until then...

Congratulations on your daughter's graduation Melissa! My oldest son just graduated from High School, and today my youngest leaves 8th grade. It sure is a bittersweet time. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for Edward Gorey.
Take care,
Martha

My only one graduated from high school six years ago! I remember it well.
Congrats to you and to her.
And may I say of your work:
HOLY COW! I love it! How you manage to portray glam and gloom, I don't know. But you do, and it's fun.
