Did you know that Coulrophobia (FEAR OF CLOWNS)is one of the most common phobias? I never could
understand how anyone could be afraid of clowns.
As a child, I dreamed of going to the circus to watch
these big top mischief makers perform their magic.
But then I guess it would be hard for some of you to
understand my fear of spiders. I enjoy looking at them
(from a distance), decorating my house with them
at Halloween, and sculpting them out of paper clay
but... I cannot sleep at night after seeing one
on my ceiling, or work in my studio after seeing one
scurrying across the floor. And why is it that they always
appear bigger to me than to anyone else?
So to those of you who suffer from Coulrophobia,
my apologies. But I couldn't resist posting
this photo of another clown that will be
accompanying me to the show.

When I was little I loved clowns...then as I grew older and saw movies like "IT" by stephen king that just did it for me...

Good Lord the clown does me in everytime...It gave me nightmares too !!! The worst was a friend of mine collected clowns big green and orange 70's clowns that hung on every wall and smiled at you.I slept over *once* and stayed up the whole night waiting for them to come to life ! THE HORROR.....I must say your little fellow does not invoke me with any clownadecaphobia......he's just plain cute !
I have a fear of creepy pervy clowns (don't ask, that was a BAD circus) but yours I love!

Oh I suffer from clown fear, they still terrify the life out of me, think its the thought that behind the painted faces they are really evil LOL
I make them often though, cant explain why but I am strangely drawn to doll versions ! Yours is wonderful

Yes...I don't understand the fear myself...It's like art dolls...people always tell me that they're scarey...spooky...is it because they're in human form...I just don't know! Your clown is superb!

The clown will eat me, the clown will eat me...oh sorry. I got carried away! I have a deep fear of clowns because they wear all that makeup with the smiles painted on and you can't tell what they really look like or what they're really thinking...like when they're thinking about eating you!!! Yikes! Your clown is very nice, though.

Your clown is super cute! :) Lil was afraid of clowns, until I dressed her up as one...full fledge. Other children were afraid of her and she thought that was so silly of them!
Oh and it was in a circus preschool that I signed her up for...I didn't torture my kid and take her to a store or something! lol :)

I have a fear of clowns, but my fear is not as bad as it once was. The movie "It" was the cause of IT all!Your clowns are very sweet and they don't scary me.
Spiders can be scary if they are large and they jump! They are probably more afraid of us!

Clowns creep me out a little bit (just real life ones), (or stuffed doll ones), (or well, the ones in movies that turn into bad clowns, that haunt your minds eye until the day you die!), but I love your little clowns!

I DON'T like people in clown get-ups, but YOUR clowns? Charming, adorable, and I could smile at them all day EVERY day! (I LOVE spiders, by the way. I NEVER kill them, just let them wander past. Well, with the exception of the Brown Recluse which does live here in Texas. THOSE I would kill!)
If real clowns were as cute as yours, no one could possibly be afraid of them...
