Clowning Around

Ready or not it's time to start, I mean
seriously start fleshing out the multitude of
drawings from my sketch book. Only 8
weeks until the kids are home for summer
vacation and ... poof... no more uninterrupted
studio time. So no more clowning around for me,
unless of course it involves glitter and a
crepe paper collar.

He's so cute and done in my favorite colors! He reminds me of a favorite childhood dessert - a jojo. Ice cream round head on a plate with gumdrop facial features topped with a pointy sugar cone hat. Not that I would eat this little guy, but he's just as sweet.

Such a neat clown, Melissa. I hear ya on the 8 weeks. My kids have been home ALL week for "Spring Break".

It is hard to work in the studio, when they are home. I have fun trying thou.

Have a great weekend.
Blessings,
~Tonya

Your creations always make me , Melissa! I must say, I miss the days when our three boys were underfoot all Summer - I'll never adjust to the "empty nest" thing!

I love all of your new stuff! I'm so sad- I totally missed March Madness. It's a good thing I can go back and check out all of your posts for the month! My little one(he's 6) likes to sculpt with me. I make him a big batch of salt dough that he can dry in the microwave and he can paint and glitter away. I'll have to start posting his creations on my blog!
