Time flies!

Where did the week go? I swear it was Monday just yesterday and now here it is, the end of the week again. At this rate Halloween will be here before you know it. Part of me says, "oh yeah" while another part of me says, "oh nooo." So I looked at the calendar to see how I could make better use of my time and schedule some deadlines for the projects I've got going when I saw something very alarming. In just 3 and a half weeks the kids will be on summer break... yikes! Really! I re-counted the days 3 times while breathing in a brown paper bag. How did this happen? Another school year over in the blink of an eye and more importantly my uninterrupted work days will be gone very shortly. Time to dig in or is it dig myself out? Whichever way I look at it there is no time to lose.

Time does fly. I can't believe that Halloween will be here before you know it.

I bet the kids are glad school is almost out, but Melissa no more sitting around eating bon bons and watching T.V. all day. He He! I don't know how you managed to get all the stuff done now that you get done with younger kids.

Before you know it summer will be over and the kids will be back to school.

Eeeek! Been there, done that, and I have to say I absolutely marvel at anyone with kids at home who can fit creating into their day...I'M having a bit of a meltdown myself over Halloween approaching so quickly, and my nest is empty, lol...

Hats off to you and good luck!

Yea for Halloween. I love that holiday, and I'm sure you're really busy from now til then. My kids get out soon too, so it's time to really dig in and work. Time certainly does fly when you're a busy mom. Have a great day Melissa!

I don't think there's a mom/artist/chief-cook-and-bottle-washer alive that can't relate to your feelings/observations in this post! I have to say this year of 'oh man, where did the time go? Alex will be out of school in just a couple of weeks!' is farrrr different. You see my one and only, the love of my life, the person I live to please... Miss Alex, is turning 18 (!!!!) in a week and graduating from high school in less than a month. My heart begs for the days when I would think, "if I can just make it through the summer interruptions, I'll have my days back..." I would give anything to think, "oh, when Alex leaves in a few years, I'll have all this extra time." Now I don't WANT it to be over; where did all the time go, indeed.
Happy Mother's Day, and as hard as it is, enjoy the 'interruption' to the schedule. Before you know it...
