An inconvenience

Seeing into the future would certainly be convenient from time to time. Who knew that a little bit of rain...well maybe more than a little bit...could derail me for almost a week. Words like power outages, system failures, downed phone lines were all in my vocabulary last week as I was completely shut off from the modern world. Well being the eternal optimist..he..he..I decided to take advantage of not being able to go online and deal with the minutia of being a self made wanna be millionaire by updating my web pages, redesigning my business card, cleaning out my files, organizing the ribbon pile, securing the glitter lids, etc, etc, etc. Needless to say, everything is now back online and I'm suffering from severe glitter withdrawls. So back to the drawing board I go! I will be madly working on some Valentine/Halloween pieces that I'll be posting on eBay by the end of the week. Unless Mother Nature steps in again with her own agenda! P.S. Click here to see my updated web pages.

Hi Melissa,

SO sorry to hear you were hit bad by the CA storms...I kept hearing about them on the news & was wondering which of my CA artist friends were or were not affected. Glad you are OK and hey...like you said...you got caught up on the back-burner stuff!

Checked out your new web layout looks GREAT ~ cleaner and love the larger updated thumbnails! :)

PS: Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods and the blog wallpaper compliment! I THINK this is the ONE?! LOL '-)

Cheers!
Chris

Melissa, I am proudly presenting you with this award!

This little award is called The Daily Dose - and here is all the important info to tell you what it is about and where it came from. This is a tribute to all the blogs that you've discovered that you can't possibly live without. They make you laugh, cry, think and feel connected every time you read a post. They give you a thrill as you see them loading into your browser and you get an equally satisfying thrill when you see that they have commented on your blog". From Xandra: creator, The Daily Dose Award.

Sounds like a productive week, (but a terribly inconvenient way to bring it about!)
And I love the Valentine sneak peek of your upcoming works. I"m off to check out your website.
