Autumn Equinox, September 22, 2017

On the Autumn Equinox, day and night stand in perfect alignment. A point of balance between dark and light, suspended for a brief moment... I love that. What's also interesting is that this year due to refractions, bending of light, and several other elegant scientific truths, some locations gained an additional 8 minutes of day light. It's comforting to think that the universal scales have tipped in favor of lightness over darkness. However brief, we could all use a little more lightness in our lives right about now. Welcome Autumn. Welcome balance and light.
