SUPERMOON... the name alone sounds like something fantastical to behold.
How lucky we are that this celestial event is just around the corner
for our viewing pleasure.
Look to the night sky on June 23rd when the Earth, Moon, and Sun align in perigee,
producing this year's closest and largest full moon.
The celestial geek in me was inspired to pay homage to this annual
stellar spectacle by creating a heavenly body of my own.
