Flea Market Finds

I'm always on the look out for weekend antiquing adventures. So when I read about Benicia's Annual
Peddler's Fair I marked my calendar, cleared my schedule and went to bed early like a child on Christmas Eve. The white tented outdoor vendors lined the streets for blocks in this charming small-town waterside community. I was happy to have stumbled upon this delightful antique treasure trove filled with collectors and flea marketeers.  I look forward to my next visit.

I'm so jealous!
I don't ever find things like this around here.
I think I need to find better places to shop. :)
Can't wait to see what you will do with them!

Oh, these boxes are so medieval looking. I think I would be getting my charcoal or crayons out and making a rubbing from the tops.
You do know about the Niles/Fremont yearly flea market and the streets behind Niles with yard sale after yard sale. It is always the last Sunday in August. I did go to the Niles Flea Market online site but did not see the usual update for the normal flea market. And then there is the flea market downtown Sacramento UNDER the freeway once a month,(I think 21st street and N?) on the second Sunday of every month. People are there before 6 A.M. rain or shine, with a small fee to get in.
(On my comment post I finally turned off the comment moderation/verification to 'no' as someone said you would get more comments without having to try and figure out the number and letters at the end of the post in order to leave a comment.)
Anyway, love your blog!

Thank you for coming over to follow my blog. My hubby and I are thinking of going to the Niles Flea Market THIS Sunday! You wouldn't believe the garage sales back behind the city, and there are at least five antique stores in town. Just lots of fun! I have found vintage lace, vintage prints in all shapes and sizes flowers, Victorian ladies, etc. Books...I even found two 'Little Souls' dolls at a garage sale I picked up for a song!
Fun stuff to do!

Every time when I saw this kind of book cover, I will think of the old story about vampire. I am a fan of vampire diary.
