I'm not much of an ice cream fan. Given the choice, I'd much prefer a cookie, cake or brownie to satisfy my sweet tooth than a creamy, cold scoop. There is one exception though. Late in October I will stalk the local ice cream shops waiting for the annual, brief appearance of Pumpkin ice cream. Yum!
Seeing that October is just around the corner, I decided to pay homage to my annual ice cream pilgrimage, by creating these Kookie Kones. Enjoy!
Pumpkin Ice Cream (Front Left) is Now on ebay!

LOL I love those Kookie Kones........thanks for the BIG smile!
Karen -- I just adore your work. I'm working on a new art Halloween art journal inspired by the Artsy Mama's Sweet & Sinister blog and I'm interested in printing some of your images to paste in it along with your contact information so I don't ever forget your wonderful work. I have a sister who was born on Halloween and I'm always looking for unique Halloween themed gift ideas. Hmmmm I think a Holiday Queen giftie is in order for this year! Thank you for being so amazing. Kathryn
Adorable! Pumpkin icecream--that's a new one for me. Sounds interesting though.
Very cool!

I love these...they are so fun!! Great work, as always, Melissa.
Pumpkin Ice Cream was a staple in this New England (CT) girl's diet...while growing up, we enjoyed Pumpkin ice cream in the Fall, Egg Nog ice cream in the winter, and Peach Brandy ice cream in the Summer...glad to know you like it too! Haven't found any yet, since we've been here in VA...sure do miss it!
Love your Kookie Kones!!
