Candy Corn Cones
CANDY CORN FACTS October 30th is National CANDY CORN Day.
9 billion pieces of CANDY CORN are produced annually.
CANDY CORN has 3.57 calories per kernel.
A cup of CANDY CORN has fewer calories than a cup of raisins.
My candy cone containers hold about 1 serving of CANDY CORN.
It is impossible for me to eat just 1 serving of CANDY CORN.
An opened bag of CANDY CORN has a shelf life of one day in my home.
Tums anyone?

Costumed Balls
My tree branches are buckling from Halloweenand Christmas swag. The creative frenzy
is just about to come to an end as I begin to
take stock of the Tinsel and Treasure
inventory. Here's another peek at the Holiday loot.
Fifteen Minutes of Fame
As promised, a brief moment in the spotlightfor the Chubby Cherubs. A not so happy cluster
of conspiring Halloween Hooligans lurks near
by. This menagerie of mischief makers will
be traveling with me to the
Tinsel and Treasure Show.
Unruly Halloween Hooligans
You'd never know by just looking at this gang ofmischief makers but these little characters are very
territorial. They are taking over my work space
making it very difficult for me to finish painting
my Chubby Christmas Cherubs. I don't think they
like the fact that I'm moving on to the "other"
holiday. It's not like I'm done with Halloween,
I'm just taking a momentary break from all things
orange and black... just to spice it up a bit.

Tis the season...
...for mischief and folly!Tinsel and Treasures is right around the corner.
The glitter is flying, the ribbons are all unfurled
and paint splatters can be found in places I dare not say.
In other words, it's crunch time.

Fear of Clowns
Did you know that Coulrophobia (FEAR OF CLOWNS)is one of the most common phobias? I never could
understand how anyone could be afraid of clowns.
As a child, I dreamed of going to the circus to watch
these big top mischief makers perform their magic.
But then I guess it would be hard for some of you to
understand my fear of spiders. I enjoy looking at them
(from a distance), decorating my house with them
at Halloween, and sculpting them out of paper clay
but... I cannot sleep at night after seeing one
on my ceiling, or work in my studio after seeing one
scurrying across the floor. And why is it that they always
appear bigger to me than to anyone else?
So to those of you who suffer from Coulrophobia,
my apologies. But I couldn't resist posting
this photo of another clown that will be
accompanying me to the show.

Black and White
Do not attempt to adjust your color monitor.I just happen to have a thing for the high contrast
color scheme of black and white. Here's a final peek
of some of the clowns that will be accompanying me
to the Tinsel and Treasure show. Next up...
black & white Victorian era inspired vintage toys.
Clowning around
Show time is just around the corner. Procrastinatingand goofing off are luxuries that I can no longer afford.
It's time to seriously start clowning around.
Here's a peek at some little wooden ornaments
that I'm bringing to the show.
